Join Jasper Band Boosters!
- The organization that supports our band students
Joining Jasper Band Boosters does not mean you have to volunteer for anything (although volunteers are always appreciated). The First best thing you can do to help is join. The funds raised by joining Band Boosters pick up where the school district leaves off in supporting your student in band.
Specifically, Band Boosters provides:
- The marching drill (This is the choreography of the formation and custom music arrangement performed at halftime and at UIL competition. Last year’s cost was $2000)
- Refreshments and bottled water for the band members at various events throughout the year, including football games
- Clinicians (additional instructors) to help during marching and concert seasons
- Social activities for Band students (Whirly Ball party and pizza party)
- Band Directory (only available to Band Booster members)
- Newsletters throughout the year.
- New equipment as needed
- Custom music arrangements
- Drum line and Color Guard instructor salaries
- Camp for Drum Majors
- TMEA Convention for Band Directors
- Other support as needed
The goal is to ensure that our Band and the educational experience of our students achieve their potential.
Membership cost is only $25 per year per family. For questions about membership, please contact our coordinator at membership08@jasperhighschoolband.com
Each booster member receives a Band Directory with contact information for band students (with clearance), Band Directors, Private Instructors and other information about band at Jasper High School. Benefits of membership also include the satisfaction of knowing that you have done your share in the support of your child in the band.
Please note: If for some reason you are unable to join due to a financial hardship at this time, please consider joining later in the year when (if) your financial situation improves. Also, please make special consideration to volunteering and helping out with Fund Raisers if you are in this situation. Thanks
