Jasper SCRIP Program
Scrip is a fundraiser provided by our band that does not require members to have to sell anything. You produce revenue by making regular household purchases you would make anyway.
How the Program Works
You order gift cards or certificates from a wide variety of merchants that participate in the Scrip program. You pay for them at face value. The band purchases these gift cards from a central provider at a discounted rate; the discount becomes our profit. These discounts range from a low of 2-4% for groceries, up to as much as 20% from some retailers. When you go to a merchant or a restaurant, simply use these certificates or gift cards instead of using cash or credit cards.
Using our scrip program to pay for goods and services in the stores where you already shop, you can help the band boosters raise money to support the band. Check the membership tab on this website for a complete list of all the support the band boosters provide.
Support from your family alone can generate profits for us every time you grocery shop, buy clothes or shoes, get your house cleaned, your lawn mowed, go to the drugstore, put gas in your car, or go out to dinner. This profit becomes an automatic source of revenue for our organization. If 100 families purchased $225 in scrip once a month throughout the school year -- with a 5% average return, our organization would raise over $10,000! How to Order
Orders may be placed weekly and should be processed and ready for pick-up the following Friday. Pick-up will be in the band hall each Friday.
Remember that scrips make great corporate gifts and teacher gifts, or can be used to purchase them. You can also use them for travel including airline tickets, hotels, and meals. The possibilities are endless. Just check the list of retailers on the shopwithscrip.com website under the retailers tab.
All orders will be done on line directly at the shopwithscrip.com website. The first time you order you need to log on and create a family account. Please use your student’s name for the account name so we can tie the profits to their student account. However, you need to put your year of birth since the ordering age needs to be over 18. After you enter your order you need to submit payment before the order will be released. You can drop off your checks in the lock box in the band hall outside the director’s office or mail directly to the Scrip Coordinator below. However, we must have payment by the due date for your order to be included.

To simplify the ordering process the $1 per order to cover shipping will be deducted from each student"s profit.
You will be notified by email when your order is available for pickup (usually within 7-10 days). At that time you can elect to send the order home with your student or pick up at specified time and location. Remember that gift cards are treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost of stolen.
If you are taking orders from family and friends please combine individual orders, keep track of whom ordered what, and submit one order on line at shopwithscrip.com. You can collect all the checks and turn them into the band as stated above. Another option is to let your friends or family use your account information and enter their own order on line. They send you the check to turn in by the order date.
You can enter orders at any time and as many as you want. They will be processed on the order date if payment is recieved.
